FREE SHIPPING!

We offer international express shipping free of charge for orders over 250 USD (300USD for Australia and New Zealand)  and for orders over 150 USD around Iceland.

How to optimize shipping cost if your order is less than the amount stated above:

#1: The more you buy the cheaper is the shipping. Our shipping fee is fixed regardless of the number of items, so when you buy many items at the same time the shipping cost per item is low; the more items you buy – the cheaper shipping is per 1 kg. We charge only the minimum rate that the carriers charge us and if it turns out to be more expensive, we cover the difference ourselves.

#2: You can always contact us through email, phone, instagram or facebook and we will assist you to optimize your order: give you the latest information about upcoming collections, matching items for the products you already chose etc;

#3: DHL delivers very quickly- it takes them from 24 hours to 1 week (for New Zealand, for example);

Recently we added a cheaper option- Icelandic post. Icelandic post is longer (takes up to 2 weeks to deliver to USA and Europe and up to 3 weeks everywhere else).

Iceland: 15$ with Icelandic post, free shipping for orders over 150$

Europe, Americas, Asia and Africa:

30$ with Icelandic post/ 50$ with DHL, free shipping for orders over 250$

Australia and other countries:

50$ with Icelandic post and 70$ with DHL, free shipping for orders over 300$

#4: all our shipments are trackable plus you get notification from DHL when exactly to expect it when the parcel is approaching its destination;

#5: all the shipments are insured;

MJÚK Iceland offers several options for shipping: in Iceland we send it by Icelandic post and we use DHL service and Icelandic post to ship the products abroad. Our delivery is on DAP terms. Delivered – at-Place (DAP) is an international trade term used to describe a deal in which a seller agrees to pay all costs and suffer any potential losses of moving goods sold to a specific location. In DAP agreements, the buyer is responsible for paying import duties and any applicable taxes, including clearance and local taxes, once the shipment has arrived at the specified destination. The term was introduced in the International Chamber of Commerce’s (ICC) eighth publication of its Incoterms in 2010.

We are located on an island which is far from everywhere except Faroe islands, therefore we don’t accept returns unless there are production flaws. We manually check every item before it is shipped to avoid sending a product even with a slightest flaw.

Please keep in mind that customs office in your country may charge you import duties.  Most of the orders we send all over the world don’t require any duties to be paid (USA, for example, charges import duties only when the order value exceeds 800 USD). But Australia, Canada and many countries in EU require customs duties and fees to be paid even for a small parcel. Every country has its own laws and regulations on import, therefore it is customers responsibility to enquire about the duties that they will pay to customs authorities in their country. Depending on the country and complexity of customs procedures DHL may charge an additional fee for the customs clearance service. Icelandic customs does not charge anything for export from Iceland, so it will be only duties charged by customs authorities in your country. For more info please check with your local customs authority.

For the residents of Canada

Sometimes Canadian customs office is taking longer time for processing than other countries where we have sent parcels. Neither we nor DHL can speed them up.
